Refund Request Submission

All requests for refund, regardless of league type, must be made IN WRITING and emailed to cmysainfo@gmail.com and must include Players Name, CMYSA Team, Date of Injury (if applicable), and Statement of Injury along with a doctor’s written prognosis (if applicable).

All refund requests must meet the policies spelled out below to be considered for refund by the CMYSA Board of Directors.  

 CMYSA reserves the right to consider cases involving extenuating circumstances, Acts of God, or other situations not covered above, on a case by case basis.

Competitive League - Refund Policy

We understand that things happen and sometimes our best laid plans have to change.  Below is our refund policies for our competitive programs.

SUMMER 9U-10U & 11U-19U D2 & D3

• Full refunds can be issued if the player elects to drop on or before Dec 31 (minus the initial registration deposit)
• Between Jan 1 and Feb 15, a refund of 50% of fees will be given.
• After Feb 15, no refunds will be given for dropping out (see exceptions below).

SUMMER 13U-19U D1 

• No refunds are issued.

This policy is in place to maintain the competitive integrity of our higher level teams. If a player changes their mind, transfers to another club, does not care for their team placement, coach or teammates, or wants to drop for any other reason, no refund will be given.

• If a player is dropped by CMYSA for not paying their registration fee by the deadline or for a disciplinary matter, any fees paid up to that point will not be refunded. 
• If there is an unpaid balance you will not be released to play with another club.
• Exceptions to our refund policy are listed below.

REFUND POLICY EXCEPTIONS

The following are the circumstances/conditions where refunds will be processed:

1. No Available Team
2. In the event CMYSA cannot place a player on a team, a full refund of tryout fees, deposit, travel fee, uniform fee and late fees paid will be issued.
3. Player Moving Away
4. In the event a player moves out of the central Minnesota area, beyond reasonable commuting distance (reasonable to be determined by CMYSA Board), based on move date, a prorated registration fee will be refunded if requested before March 1st. Refund of uniform fees will only be issued if requested before March 1st. No refund will be issued for tryout fees.
5. Serious Injury/Illness
6. Submitted before April 30th, prorated refund based on injury/illness date.
7. Submitted between May 1 and May 31, refund of 25% of travel fees.
8. Submitted after May 31st, no refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued for tryout fees and/or uniform fee in this case.

Recreational League - Refund Policy

This policy is valid for all recreational soccer seasons.

• 50% refund up until three weeks before the season starts. No refunds thereafter except.

Stand Alone Camps and Trainings -

This policy is valid for all camps and training sessions with stand alone registrations.
